BALTIMORE COUNTY WASTE REDUCTION INITIATIVE

When you agree to a rental in the park, you also agree to participate in this program. Only compostable paper products are permitted, such as plates napkins and utensils and are included in your rental fee. An adequate supply of these items will be provided to the renter based on the confirmed attendance they report 7 days prior to the rental date.

On the day of the rental a staff member assigned to the event will set up a waste station prior to your event. Each waste station will contain three bins (trash, recycle and compost) and signage to help attendees determine which items go in each bin. Staff will be available to help with questions and will check in periodically with you during your event. Staff will also remove the bins at the end of the event.
